Wine Journeys

A journey which started when I was bitten by the ‘wine bug’ some 25 years ago while working in the industry. My mission ever since has been to travel the constantly changing wine world experiencing hands on what really happens or doesn’t happen in the vineyard, winery or bottling plant, to discover new wines, odd grapes and previously unknown producers gaining experience and knowledge to share and of course having fun along the way. While travelling I insist on seeking out and sampling local wines, comparing the theory to the reality and dispelling the myths surrounding the ever evolving world of wines. This is one journey which I am happy to share and which by embarking on I know that I am guaranteed never to reach my destination as each vintage, new producers, new production methods and vineyard practices constantly change.
